WE PLAY 1 YEAR DIVISIONS (Season year is Fall 22 & Spring 23)

US soccer has decided to change some of the rules in youth soccer (Fall 2017) The biggest change is that registration will be based on calendar year instead of August 1st through July 31st

West Valley Soccer league has decided to grandfather all returning age groups / teams (2011 and up) and continue using the August 1st through July 31st registration process.

The only difference is how we define your team

If your child's birthday is between January 1st and July 31st the application from Cal South will have the younger age bracket printed on the form please ignore. You are playing in division 13 the Cal South form will have U12 instead of U13

New teams that are starting in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012 and 2011 will be based on the calendar year registration

 

US Club Soccer does not allow a child to play below his/her age group regardless of size or experience

for insurance purposes.

 

2019 (Div 4) Teams play 4 Vs 4 no goalies (6 players)  we will have Div 4 only if we have 24 + players and 4+ coaches  SPRING 2023 ONLY

2018 (Div 5) Teams play 4 Vs 4 no goalies (6 players) - Size 3 Ball, 7 min quarters. Birth year 2018, No heading games or at practice.

2017 (Div 6) Teams play 4 Vs 4 no goalies (6 players) - Size 3 Ball, 7 min quarters. Birth year 2017, No heading games or at practice.

 

2016 (Div 7) Teams play 5 Vs 5 (7 players) - Size 3 Ball, 10 min quarters. Birth year 2016, No heading games or at practice

2015 (Div 8) Teams play 5 Vs 5 (7 players) - Size 3 Ball, 10 min quarters. Birth year 2015, No heading games or at practice

 

2014 (Div 9) Teams play 7 Vs 7 (9 players) - Size 4 Ball, 10 min quarters. Birth year 2014, No heading games or at practice.

2013 (Div 10) Teams play 7 Vs 7 (9 players) - Size 4 Ball, 10 min quarters. Birth year 2013, No heading games or at practice.

 

2012 (Div 11) Teams play 9 Vs 9 (12 players) - Size 4 Ball, 10 min quarters. Birth year 2012, No heading games or at practice.

2011 (Div 12) Teams play 9 Vs 9 (12 players) - Size 4 Ball, 10 min quarters. Birth year 2011, No heading games or at practice.

In previous years we have combined division 12 and 13 based on registration numbers. This is the transition year between calendar year registration and August through July registration

Div 13  Teams play 9 Vs 9 (12 players) - Size 5 Ball, 10 min quarters. Eligible birthdays August 1, 2010 through July 31, 2011.

Div 14  Teams play 9 Vs 9 (12 players) - Size 5 Ball, 10 min quarters. Eligible birthdays August 1, 2009 through July 31, 2010.

Div 15  Teams play 9 Vs 9 (12 players) - Size 5 Ball, 10 min quarters. Eligible birthdays August 1, 2008 through July 31, 2009.

Div 16  Teams play 9 Vs 9 (12 players) - Size 5 Ball, 10 min quarters. Eligible birthdays August 1, 2007 through July 31, 2008.

Can I play UP an age group? Yes (If it's OK with the coach)

Can I play Down an age group?  NO Sorry. All players must play age appropriate based on the age groups posted on our website.

Can a Girl play on a boys team?  Yes (Title 9)

Can a boy play on a girls team? NO (we are not a co-ed program)

Can I play on a Club team (Coast Soccer or SoCal Soccer) and Play LAFC So Cal Rec? Fall NO, In Spring ONLY **

** Spring ONLY – Yes but you can only have a maximum of 2 players from the same fall 2020 club team roster. i.e.

1 from RSC 2005 Blue, 1 from Valley United red and 2 from North Valley 05 - That is OK

1 from RSC 2005 Blue, 1 from Valley United red and 3 from North Valley 05 - NOT OK

Can I play on 2 LAFC So Cal Rec teams? No Sorry

Can I play on an AYSO Rec team and Play LAFC So Cal Rec or Club? Yes (But we do not recommend)

Gametime request.

With nearly 200 teams in our program, we do not honor game times requests

am games only, pm games only... as it would be imposable to offer this to all 200 +  team. it would be unfair to offer it to some 

Before registering your team please make sure that both you and your players are available to play 

In the Fall 9 am - 5 pm (Saturdays)

In the Spring 9:30am - 5:30pm (Sundays)
