How Do I Sign Up My Team? – New and Returning Coaches

Please make sure you understand and agree to abide by all the rules of our program before committing your team to play with us this fall/spring. We completely understand if our program does not fit your needs or your team.

We can only have one head coach per team. We will only be working on schedule conflicts for head coaches only. You can only be the head coach of a maximum of three teams.
Each team has the opportunity to send in the minimum number of players (see here)
If a team does not have the minimum number of players. players are assigned from the player pool. We have no way of knowing the player's skill ability in a blind draft. We try to match up players from the same school or city.
The only time you would not get pool players if there were not enough pool players to hand out that year.
You cannot email me in July (Fall) February (Spring) with that last player that you needed - WE HAVE TO PLACE POOL PLAYERS who signed up on time FIRST!!
WVSL / LAFC So Cal Youth Rec league policy regarding tryouts: There are no tryouts for new or returning players. An open audition/tryout, called for by a new or current coach/team parent is prohibited. If you invite a player to your team you then can NOT tell that player that they did not make the team. Thank You
Checklist
The online registration system is completely paperless there is no need to print and send in any information to the league.
You will need to create a volunteer page for each of you children that you are coaching. On that page you will be able to list the players that are on your team

Can I play UP an age group? Yes 1 year only (If it's OK with the coach of your team)
Can I play Down an age group?
All players must play age-appropriate based on the age groups posted on our website.
For the Fall season
Can I play on a Club team and Play LAFC Rec? NO Sorry
Can I play on 2 LAFC Rec teams? No Sorry
Can I play on an AYSO Rec team and Play LAFC Rec or Club? Yes (But we do not recommend)
For the Spring season
Q – Can club players (Coast Soccer or SCDSL) Play in LAFC Rec spring?
A – Yes but you can only have a maximum of 2 players from the same fall 2021 club team roster.
i.e. –
1 from LAFC Club 2005 Blue, 1 from Valley United red and 2 from North Valley 05 - That is OK
1 from LAFC Club 2005 Blue, 1 from Valley United red and 3 from North Valley 05 - NOT OK
Is it possible to have 1 or 2 more players on my team?
ONLY if ALL the parents understand that it will affect their kids playing time,

With nearly 200 teams in our program, we do not honor game times requests
am games only, pm games only... as it would be imposable to offer this to all 200 + team. it would be unfair to offer it to some
Before registering your team please make sure that both you and your players are available to play
In the Fall 9 am - 5 pm (Saturdays)
In the Spring 9:30am - 5:30pm (Sundays)
